Today, I wanted to share two of my everyday casual looks.

 

You might already know that I am a student, so my everyday looks are very simple, sporty and comfortable. So, when I saw this Piko dress at the Lush Fashion Lounge, I knew I had to have it. It's super soft, a little oversized and modest enough for school. Also, the A-line cut is very flattering to any type of the body.

 

 For the first look I decided to pair it up with the OKC monogrammed puffer vest. This vest is currently on sale and is only 27$. It's not very heavy, so it would be perfect for chilly spring mornings. This vest would be a perfect addition to any Okie's closet.

 

 

Cargo jackets had always being my go to jackets regardless of the time of the year. They are lightweight and perfect for layering. I wore them over dresses, T-shirts and even under fur vests and peacoats. So, when it comes to styling cargo jackets, the sky is the limit. I will link few affordable options bellow.

 

I practically lived in this jacket all last week, because it rained every single day while we were in Florida. I mean I love water, but seriously, if I wasn't splashing in the ocean, I was splashing in the rain. And daily mansoons isn't something you want to see on your tropical gateway.

The other day I was browsing through my FB and stumbled on one of those personality quizzes were one of the questions asked to select an outfit or the style that would best describe me. After looking at the provided options for good 5 minutes, I realized that I have no style, or better say that my style has a serious case of a multiple personality disorder. And I am sure I am not the only one with the same problem. So, the question is, whether not having a personal style is a problem or not. Well, that depends on how much you are planning to spend on your cloths.

 A specific style serves as a reference point from which you would start building your wardrobe. It also gives you a set of boundaries and a direction you want your look to go. Not having a personal style could be almost as damaging to your wallet as not having a style at all. In both cases, you might end up filling your closet with random, "un-jointed" articles of cloths which will either end up hanging in your closet for all eternity or will require the purchase of more additional items.

So, in the words of that famous meme"...don't be like Margaret". Don't have everything including the "kitchen sink" (in couple different colors) inside your closed.
