And we are back to Florida.

I mentioned in the earlier post, our stay in Clearwater Beach was very laid back.  My friend called it boring, but to me it was absolutely perfect, since my hobbies involve sleeping and eating, and that's precisly what we did for over a week.

 

As the recommendations go, let me start from the location itself. 

If anyone who is looking for a family friendly destination Clearwater Beach is definatly a place to consider. There are a lot of fun place and activities to take the kids to like the pirate cruises, the aquarium or the shows on the beach. As for the night life, well, it's practically inexistent. We haven't found a single club or bar that wasn't attached to the restaurant (although we weren't looking to hard for them).

 

All the restaurants and cafes that we visited were really good. The staff was very helpful and attentive. The 2 restaurants that stood out the most were the Pearly's and Clear Sky Cafe. Peraly's is a very small joint with outside sitting only and the best fried fish tacos in the whole Clearwater Beach. Clear Sky Café also has an amazing menu with great specials throughout the day.
