Last weekend we decided to take an impromptu trip to the Ozarks for a little change of scenery. I really wanted to see the leaves change color, but sadly, most of the foliage was green, or lightly yellow. A little disappointing, but it surely hasn't taken away from the beauty that is the Ozarks.
We stayed in the most adorable cabin facing the Beaver lake.
I am not a cabin type of person, but I honestly had exercised a thought (or two) of selling my condo in the city and moving into that cabin. The view, the cabin, both were picture perfect. So, if you are planning on visiting Eureka Springs area sometimes in the feature, make sure to give those cabin a look. You can even take a virtual tour on their website. (And my recommendations are in no way sponsored by the hotel, I just really liked the place)
And yes, I've been a typical Okie, and wore my OKC Thunder top while visiting the other state.
